Broward County Human Services Department

Broward County Human Services Department through its Community Partnerships Division (CPD) and Office of Evaluation and Planning’s Grants Team (GT) provides a variety of resources to Broward County nonprofit agencies holding a 501c3 and identified as active in the State of Florida. Information workshops are offered by CPD for agencies interested in applying for funding to provide direct and supportive social services in the areas of homelessness, children’s services and health care. Grant-related skills trainings provided by the GT and offered at no cost include “Grantwriting Basics” and “Collaborative Grants Development”. The Broward County Office of Economic and Small Business Development (OESBD) supports Broward County businesses and their success by providing a comprehensive roster of client-focused services. Established by the voters as a special independent taxing authority in 2000, the Children’s Services Council of Broward County’s (CSC) mission is to provide the leadership, advocacy and resources necessary to enhance the lives of children and empower them to become responsible, productive adults.
